A day. One of those days. You know those days.

Which is why when Medusa walks into the Bar, dressed as a stylishly chic Muslim lady (yes, even with the glasses), she just looks relieved.

The Gorgon walks across to her normal table, dumps her bag, and then starts taking clothes off - sandals, scarf (with its pins), blouse (the skirt and singlet can stay)

It's about five, oh, seconds before a goddess deposits herself in one of the chairs at the table.

Athena - is in a white sundress and sandals. Light, functional, and good enough for her.

"Hey, you."

She raises her eyebrows.

"Good morning," she says in English, voice sounding...fairly human, if overly British.

It is a very eloquent eyebrow raise, which meets a half-grin on Athena's part.

(She looks tired.)

"Anything you wanted in particular?"

Athena is not out for anything specific.

"I thought my shop was different from yours."

Her lips twist, stay pressed together.

"Took your time."

She runs a hand through her hair, shaking out braids and snakes alike, before taking off her glasses and giving Athena the full force of her stare.

Athena rubs her forehead, offering up a slight nod.




"Yeah."

"On the plus side, though, he would not be protected by belief anymore."

"True."

This prompts a short laugh.

"Doubt anyone'd try any tricks with him, though."

"Oh, I think there would be some. But it's a question of retaliation, should we not convince him that it is blood for honour's sake."

"Suggestions, then?"

"That's your shop. Mine is far more simple. Just tear Poseidon into little pieces."

"Although, second or third rounds could be nice."
