While curled up on Sam's bed, head cushioned on her arm, giving all the appearances of being asleep.

Sam would totally believe her! Really!

He's been down in the bar with Atton, and therefore, as things usually do go with them, has been in a fight.

Pillowfight, that is.

So he's shirtless (kicking Atton's arse is hot work! Really!) and covered in feathers.

And heading for a shower now, plzkthnx. He's not particularly quiet, even though he does try in consideration for the girlfriend sleeping thinking on his bed.

And yet, he isn't within arm's reach.

This makes Medusa sad.

If she feels like a shower, anyway. Sam makes for the bathroom, leaving a trail of discarded, feathery clothing behind him. Nobody ever accused him of being shy, after all.

"Why do you smell of goosedown?"

"Pillowfight," Sam says briefly, turning the shower on.

"With Atton. It got messy."

She pushes herself up, frowning in amusement.

"Clearly."

Sam shrugs innocently.

"Clearly pillows aren't what they used to be."

It's totally not because said pillowfight involved blatant cheating by way of magic and the Force, naturally.

"Of course not."

"I should complain." Vaguely, kicking his one remaining sock off before stepping under the water.

"Coming in?"

The Gorgon gets off the bed and pads over.

"In?"

Sam grins at her, eyes almost covered by his wet hair.

"In the shower."

"In the-

Um. I didn't think it was...big enough."

And then she turns red.

Sam considers, then rejects, a possible sentence, and eventually takes the only possible course of action.

He splashes her, of course, via the simple method of catching as much water as possible in his cupped hands.

"LUCIFER!"

Puppydog eyes.

"Me?"

"I'm wet."

[necessary_child]

"You are," Sam agrees. "Can't hurt if you come in the shower, then, can it? I mean, if you're wet already..."

Suspiciously,

"Are you stealing my logic?"

[necessary_child]

"Logic? What's that?" Innocently.

"Forget I asked," she says before reaching up to untie the halter-neck of her dress.

"Asked what?" Sam grins, reaching out to pull Medusa over.

Well, in is in and the water is nice and Sam is there and-

"Weren't you supposed to wait until after my dress was off?"

"It was already wet," Sam explains wisely, leaning over and kissing her.

[mycursedface]

"Mm," is her reply, kissing him back.

Sam considers it a very satisfactory reply, really. And since she'd seemed so concerned about her dress, he's now helpfully removing it.
